In the LooP: An e-newsletter with news that MUST get out.
MARCH RECHARGE: March 13-14

We are still taking registrations for our Senior High March Recharge. We currently have 21 campers registered for this much anticipated weekend, and we are hoping to register plenty more, but we cannot do that without your help!

The recharge is for 9-12 graders. We will continue with the “Wii: What a Ride” theme of the other recharges, but this will be geared for High Schoolers. We are always willing to provide you with more information, please let us know how we can help you recruit campers.
IN THE LOOP:

Please continue to bear with us as we are still updating the In the LooP recipient list. If you should not be on this list, would like us to use a different email address, or are receiving it twice - please let us know. We are trying to make sure that each of our member congregations, pastors, and youth workers are receiving this important e-newsletter.

LUTHER PARK WEBSITE: Updates

We have added some information to our website that you might find helpful, or at the very least you should find it informative!
We now have our Summer 2009 VBS information online. Many of you have been asking for this information. We have made it easy for you (and everyone else) to access!

We have now added a tab with our 2008 Annual Report information as well as a tab with Board Minutes from 2008 and 2009. Now you can keep up with the happenings of Luther Park.

SUMMER CHURCH SERVICES:

Each summer the Luther Park staff will travel to a different member church each Sunday to lead the service, camp style. This is always a welcome treat for the members who have been campers and staff. This is also fun for the other members of the congregation to have a piece of camp brought to them. We are currently booked for the summer of 2009 and nearly full for 2010! This is our schedule for the summer of 2009:

June 7 - New Hope, Sand Creek (Installation)
June 14 - Lyster Lutheran, Nelson
June 21 - First Lutheran, Barron
June 28 - Long Lake Lutheran, Sarona
July 5 – Off
July 12 - St. John and Peace Lutheran, Edgar
July 19 - Trinity Lutheran, Loyal
July 26 - St. John’s Lutheran, Bloomer
August 2 - South Beef River and Kings Valley, Osseo
August 9 - Luther Park Auction (worship will be led at LPBC by the staff)

 P.A.L.S: Now accepting applications

We have a number of PALS applications already in, this is a highly sought after Senior High program that must be applied for. The camper will stay at Luther Park for free and will volunteer their time in the kitchen and on the grounds as well as participating in traditional camp activities.

If you or some of your congregants requested a PALS application this summer please re-request it. The slots tend to fill up quickly and we would like to make sure those who are interested can get their first choice for a session.
