Lenten Offering Challenge to all Luther Park Congregations:
A challenge is being extended to all Luther Park Congregations by New Hope Lutheran and Little Elk Creek Lutheran from Downsville to designate Lenten Offerings to go toward supporting Luther Park Bible Camp as the camp continues to work its way out from under a deficit situation from 2009. If it is possible for your congregation to make a last minute decision to designate Lenten offerings toward Luther Park that would be great or if one or more of your Lenten offerings could be given toward this challenge we would welcome your support.
Thank you for considering this Challenge from New Hope and Little Elk Creek Lutheran from Downsville.

Update on Financial Situation
I believe it is important for folks to know the current state of affairs with finances. The annual fund resources continue to be behind expenditures. As of this note, we still have $5,462, in unpaid bills from 2009. We also have current payables that are due by the end of February to the tune of $12,641. This does not include payroll expenses. Available dollars in the checking account, $388. If all expenses were to be paid in full by the end of February we would need revenue sources of $22,650. Rev. Craig Corbin, Interim Exec. Director

Touch the life of a Child
Luther Park's senior high programs will be coming soon.
But before we make those programs public, if you would like to share your vision for Senior High programs this summer, please contact Brianna Kunkel at Briann@lutherpark.org. Brianna is looking for ways to meet the spiritual and programmatic needs of Senior High youth for this summer. Programs that are in the works include the House Boat Trip (RAFT) , Leadership School Training (JOLT), and a Senior High Program at Luther Woods.
Currently Brianna is looking for input on when these programs should take place, strategies on getting Senior High youth involved this summer and activities that will be offered when Senior High youth are at camp or at the Woods.
Help shape the ministry of Luther Park this summer!
Senior High Programs will be available by the end of the month. PALS and FLOOD programs are already available and filling up fast.
